Please read our extensive Terms and Conditions below carefully before proceeding with your booking. By renting a bike from RacefietsHuur, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that cycling involves inherent risks, such as accidents, falls and collisions. Renting and riding our racing bikes is entirely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to assess whether the bike is suitable for your skill level and intended use.

2. Mandatory Test Ride: Before you begin your rental period, we strongly recommend that you take a thorough test ride with the bike. This will help you become familiar with the bike's features, controls and behavior, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride.

3. Mandatory Accident Reporting: Should any accidents, collisions or damage to the bike occur during your rental period, you are required to report these incidents to RacefietsHuur immediately. This reporting is essential for the safety of future renters and allows us to carry out any necessary maintenance or repair work in a timely manner.

4. Liability for Damage: You take full responsibility for any damage to the rented bike during the rental period. In case of irreparable damage or loss of the bike, your maximum liability is 500 euros per bike. Please note that our bikes are not insured.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy: Our cancellation policy offers a full refund for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the scheduled booking date. Cancellations within 7 days of the booking date may result in a cancellation fee.

6. Returning the Bike and Late Arrival Fee: At the end of your rental period, you must return the bike to the same location where you picked it up. Self-service locations are available in Amsterdam and The Hague, while Utrecht has a manned return location. Late arrivals when returning the bike will result in a fee of 20 euros per day.

7. Extension of Rental Period: If you wish to extend the duration of your rental, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible. Extensions are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Additional charges may apply for extended rental periods.

8. Identification requirement: To confirm your rental, you must provide valid identification at least 2 hours before the start of your rental period. Send a clear copy of your identification document to info@racefietshuur.nl . This measure ensures the accuracy and security of your booking.

9. Compliance with Local Laws: When using our rental bikes, you must comply with all local traffic laws, regulations and ordinances.

10. Changes to the Terms: RacefietsHuur reserves the right to revise and amend the Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to regularly check these terms and conditions.
